THINGS TO DO

Excursions / Interests

Eilean Shona Island

There is so much to do and take in on this beautiful island, from building camp fires, crabbing, swimming, painting, picnicking, kayaking, nature watching, photography and walking. Eilean Shona has a number of beautiful and varied walks. The island is about 2.5 miles by 1 mile. To walk around the entire coast takes a good 5 hours. Swimming in Eilean Shona's pristine waters is one of life's great pleasures.

Ben Nevis

Scotland's landscape is scattered with Munros and mist-shrouded hills... but Ben Nevis is the king of them all. In the north west Highlands, near the town of Fort William and part of the Grampian Mountain range, the famous peak attracts 125k walkers a year. Whether you're an avid ambler or you just love beautiful landscapes, bagging 'the Ben' is likely to feature near the top of your Scottish bucket list.

Isle of Skye

Take the ferry for a day to visit Isle of Skye, and Dunvegan Castle. Skye is one of the top locations in Scotland to visit. It is famous for its scenery and landscapes that will take your breath away.
