elegant and spacious rooms typical of its late Georgian style,

The garden door leads out onto a large stone flagged terrace in front of a wide, immaculate lawn with wonderful, unspoilt views over Meon Hill. In the 12 acres of private garden immediately surrounding the house, there is a large heated swimming pool in a private secluded area and a hard tennis court. A wide array of flowers can also be enjoyed and vegetables are grown for the house in the kitchen garden. Beyond the lanscaped grounds, there is the arboretum and the lake.
There is a large ornately decorated drawing room with a spacious seating area and grand piano, making it the perfect setting for entertaining parties of people. For quieter afternoons the smaller sitting room is the ideal spot for afternoon tea or a rainy day in front of the fire with a book. Additonally, there is a more modern and colourful TV room and a snooker room with a full sized table.
Downstairs, leading off a large open hallway, there is a modern family kitchen for 12 and an additional catering kitchen; larger groups can use the more formal dining room. Staff are available on request.
Norton Hall can comfortably sleep 16 with a maximum of 18 in 9 luxurious bedrooms. There is a super king double with an en suite shower and bath, a king double with an en suite bath, a four poster king double with an en suite bath, a four poster super king with an en suite bath, 2 super kings which can be converted into twin rooms, a twin single and 2 double rooms. Bedrooms 5-9 share 2 bathrooms one of which has a shower and the other a bath. All rooms have spectacular views over the grounds.
There are 4 ensuite bathrooms with large spacious baths, and an additional 2 bathrooms between the remaining 5 bedrooms.
