The Chalet was a hunting lodge dating back to the 16th century. It sits on it's own private golf course and has a beautiful pool with breathtaking views over the Dolimites.
It is elegance, tradition, and furniture design that render the living spaces of San Lorenzo Mountain Lodge so unique and so exclusive. There is a Large hall with 16th-century vaulted ceiling, Day room and Tea room. There is a dining room in the style of the Traditional Tyrolean "stube" as well as a fully equipped modern kitchen. On the first floor there is a lounge with an open fire.
At San Lorenzo Mountain Lodge, guests have the option of enjoying the owner's delicious local specialities or being served by a prestigious chef - expect a feast of the palate and of the senses accompanied by fine wines from South Tyrol and beyond.
The lodge has four bedrooms - each different from the others and unique in its own special way. Il Sogno: facing southeast with views of meadows and woods. Double bed, en-suite bathroom. L'Aurora: facing north with view of the Dolomites. Il Nido: facing east with view of Plan de Corones Mountain. Il Rifugio: corner room with views of Plan de Corones Mountain and the Dolomites of Alta Badia Valley. Two bunk beds for four persons.
Two of the bedrooms have beautiful ensuite bathrooms. The other two share a large bathroom.
A private golf course, set into the steep slopes of the Pusteria Valley like a green gem, has been created within the beautiful countryside that surrounds the lodge. Thanks to the creativity of Ron Kirby, a golf course designer of international renown, and the undisputed quality of the green endorsed by Jack Nicklaus, San Lorenzo Mountain Lodge is the only lodge in the Alps to offer its guests a chance to play 18 holes in a unique and unforgettable environment or to practice and take part in golf academies on an international level.
